i have gotten more mileage out of rejuvenating older content than by continuously producing fresh stuff. occasionally all that needs to be done is shifting the perspective a bit including some missing elements and updating any out dated information.
I have actually reduced my guest posting and i am using the site audience as an important criterion rather than DR. If no ones is going to click on the link or read the article then there is no point in having that article posted on the site.
If speed is the objective then it is better to build traffic from payment and social medias than taking chances on a fresh domain with bh techniques.
black hat techniques works rapidly but seeing that traffic vanish just as rapidly gets annoying really quickly in my opinion.
numerical supports can certainly work but in my opinion, the most significant factors would be in aliggning the titles with what the audience wants to see. i always create 2 to 3 versions and tests out the CTR once the titles gain some traction.
without doubt ai technology helps speed up the process of writing however, whether it makes the process easierr depends on ur approaches to using AI. In most cases i has to re writes many parts of the text produced by ai due to the repeated use of niche phrases.
Realising that increasing the content does not necessarily equate to increased traffic. it was a waste of my time writing more articles on how to improve on the previous content considering intent and structure were way more useful.
yes I believe that people sometimes get confused between topical authority and writing over a hundred articles on a given certain topic. A site that has good content that answers the searches can be easily outrank a massive cluster with lots of the filler content.
For a long form i would not stress so mch about the gap between the upload days because if the quality of ur content is good daily will do just fine. But it would be better to have two three solid videos per week just an opionion for better growth of ur account .
It is the task of sustaining the flow in the first few weeks for me that is vry difficult. getting the content ideas is not that difficult but creating videos which people will wants to watch till the end is really difficult . can u share any sol??
i willl refrain from following all the trends initially and base my strategy on a topic that i could do more than 50 videos on. during the first few months, you basically need to figure out what works for ur audience.
The observation that i has made regarding this change in youtube is that they are now valuing more the videos which fulfills the audience rather than only putting key words. The factor which have been more important is the ability to grab attention within 30 seconds and keeps people engaged.
Yes, i have seen that too. The shorts get a lot more traction, but the viewers who come through shorts do not necessarily watch long form content. imho , it is best if you can make your shorts transition into your longs seamlessly.
Yeah i still do basic youtube SEO. Titles, keywords and descriptions help discovery, but imo it is retention and viewer satisfaction that determines where the video will go from there
For me it is the obsession with domain rating/domain authority. They wre nice for a quick snapshot, but I have seen lots of sites with so so metrics consistently outrank “stronger” competitors because their content answered the query better, and the site was in gud shape.
I would rather track if...
The problem that i finds with guest posting is that it has now becomes more of an investigative process than an editorial one. It is easy to find places to post, but it takes little more time to figure out whether the site really has any merit to it and can be considered valuable. There have...
