Exactly, and to be quite honest it is more natural and truthful how they do it. The only issue is YouTube favours them, so any new comer simply cannot compete. Very unfair.

This is what puzzles me, no SEO at all for most YouTubers yet they get 500K+ hits.

You are still missing my points, it might be first page and other videos there have 50k views etc etc but i'm convinced people simply don't search those terms (if they do, its no where near the number Google KW Tool is showing).
