yep i noticed when i suddenly approved a buch of spam in my subreddit and eased up on the strictness to let anything go bam within days my 2 subreddits were banned even without anyone new replying after that and they had been up for years. the one that rarely gets comments was not banned so...
i have noticed that no one in the mod folders know anything about hte recent spam changes. i haven't seen one person complain about their links getting removed.
I did a thread on this 2 weeks ago
Reddit is planning on taking mods completely out of the spam moderation business
any spam reports will go direct to the ADMINS. mods will not be allowed to approve spam anymore
this means no longer undrhanded stalth spammers controlling big subs since they...
that doesnt work anymore
I manually use my own internet providers no proxies so im way more advanced then anyone here since it doesnt get more real then actual direct internet connection. proxies can be detected by reddit on latency etc
and reddit started banning account registrations the last...
even if that is true thats very tiny and very easy to slap a new domain and redirect it so doesn't matter
but what they are planning to do has no solution and will end all commercialization
me neither. I dont have any subreddits they all got banned or stolen by SEO guys lol
the only solution is for reddit to take modship completely out cause its corrupt as hell
even if it was mostly AI it would be smarter then the dumbass mod system they have now
you have subreddits being stolen, mods getting paid to protect or spam certain threads and protect them, mods hijacking as stealth spammers in established subreddits so tehy can protect and spam these...
and if im right then what is your plan?
AI plus admins. but mods will be out of the loop so no more thread hijacking/stealing/getting paid to promote spam links.
it will be honest mods for the most part cause there will be no spam to protect since they wont be able to protect it anymore
this will eliminate subs from getting hijacked by corrupt mods too. this will be the only way they can stop it by taking the power out of them completely.
Heard a rumour from an insider that reddit admins (and AI) will be controlling spam now bypassing mods control completely
no longer going forward can you "approve" spam or take over a existing subreddit so you can protect your spam.
cause the admins and AI can nuke the comment and thread and...
iI have a good sense of the pulse cause i was affected each time they changed it and i was able to find workarounds on it. Ive ltierally seen every little minor algorithm tweak they have done and they slowly gotten it worse since march 9th so i know at this point its futile and not worth the...
my subreddits are small and been around enough years that for it to happen this week with all the other subreddit bans im seeing proves that reddit wants to eliminate all spam
seen another guy i follow also lose a bunch today and earlier this week.
never seen such hard cracking down.
pretty...
