Sounds like Josh Hawley didnt get his bribe this month ha ha. Still it does make you wonder "why now".....what changed as usually in the USA google is mostly left alone (or at least treated much better than in Europe).

CrakRevenue has a good rep here. PM one of the mods here and ask him to put you in touch with the owner of CrakRevenue. I am pretty sure the owner of CrakRevenue would explain the issue or adjust your account depending on whatever the issue is/was.

Yeah I am sure it can. However lets assume they are using Askimet to successfully block 95% of spam, would it make good fiscal sense to spend (pretend) $1,000 on getting rid of potentially 4% of spam ? (I say 4 and not 5% because you will never block 100% of spam with high traffic sites)

It depends....only a mod would be able to judge that since regular users wouldn't (imhp) know of the filters already in place to prevent it. What your asking is likely to require custom programming.
