This issue has been persisting with the unfollower app for 3 months already, just read the app's reviews and sort by most recent.. Unfollowers especially has been padding their reviews with bots.

How will this affect explore pages and what the user sees upon searching? I assume the algo for likes to appear at the top of peoples explore page will be the same?

super interesting.. at this time a lot of the unfollow apps don't work. This may be why, they are bringing it in-house. Wish it could auto unfollow thought.. thats a pipe dream.

is there a hashtag generator you could recommend for this?

I have a similar question, i have 16.9k followers and about 100 posts, but only reached explore a handful of times. I post my gaming clips as i stream on twitch, but my engagement reaches only 2-3k. The explore page would help me tremendously but i cant seem to get on it. I get about 500+ views...

Read the recent reviews on that, its not working.. Seems like all of the unfollowing apps are blocked from ig. You may have to do it manually as i have been since Followers has been down.

The unfollow apps all don't work currently. You can see who unfollowed, but you cannot do the auto unfollow feature if you have all the people not following you back collected in a list. Seems like instagram might've caught on. Look at the recent reviews of the Unfollower app.
