For lots of links, I just use a python script I wrote. It takes a list of urls, crawls them to get titles/meta desc (uses a standard desc if there is no meta) then builds out an RSS, uploads it via FTP, and uses XMLRPC to send a ping to pingomatic. Pages are indexed in under a minute usually...

Thanks for the share. About how many free downloads do the books get during this 5 day period? I know you said Kindle is not good for blackhatting, but it seems to me that a little cautious automation during the free download phase could be beneficial in this method.
