This is currently happening to me. Thinking I might just rewrite the posts, improving them for search intent and just ripping ideas from what's currently ranking.
Of course, it's literally one of the most profitable niches, but good luck ranking without money + experience + time.
It's a long term play, you won't get results overnight.
Find out what people are most interested in and make videos about that. Or copy people who've made videos about interesting history and try improve it or add a distinct twist.
From what I've seen and implemented myself to get results, using AI to generate a comprehensive topical map of what you're trying to rank for and then building out a blog/help page with good internal linking etc etc and a good amount of well written blog articles (in my case 20) did wonders for...

I haven't noticed a huge amount of changes. Seems mostly cope when new models get released.
The biggest change I noticed was when the reasoning models were released and when you could create the ghibli images.
