@Russ Thomas That's correct. Videos will earn virality after a shock of views with high retention / prolonged watch time occur, even far after the video has been uploaded for an extended amount of time.

These are extremely high numbers. You found an awesome audience, and weak competition to get such high CTR. Expect it to go down, but even still...anything over 10% is doing extremely well
