The way people were having no diversity in their backlink profile they were always going to get hit. A range of links from a range of sources and I wouldn't say don't have any exact anchor text in your backlink profile but make sure it is a small percent.
The more successful sites in one of my...
The guy in the article also sourced a lot of stuff out to VA's. I would do content spinning myself doesn't take long and gets you better results if you do it yourself rather than hand it off to someone with English as a second language. Also for the majority of people the first setup is probably...
They did this to me, it should tell you what terms and conditions you broke. I stated they were mistaken someone manually reviewed and I was able to continue as normal. Linking out to your main site in every post basically shows everyone that the blog is purely for SEO purposes and not adding...
Tell people you only accept generic anchor text links and no author bio's. Then it doesn't appear your acting as what is essentially a glorified article directory which is the thing I would be personally worried about.
Your blogs homepage PR won't be affected, unless your homepage is linking out to a ton of different sources with no extra links pointing. There is no thing as site wide PR, Pagerank is calculated Page by page.
What is more concerning is that it will look like your blog is just made for guest...
Are there other Swedish sites covering the same topics? If so I would get out there and do some outreach to see whether you can write guest posts or get mentions from those sites. That would be the best way to .se links in my opinion.
In regards to the services on here, I think they vary...
No one from BHW ranks better than #10 for a niche keyword? What? I personally rank on the first page for a ton of niche keywords.
Ideally you are going to want some links from .se domains with Swedish anchor text, but links from other TLDs will help your site rank as well. For instance my...
Why would it matter? He might or he might not be, some of the stuff he points is hardly cutting edge and some of the other members here are more at the forefront of internet marketing. He has some decent videos on YouTube etc, and may be a member here as may many other people in the world of IM.
Tried Bing It On and typed in five search terms related to one of my niche and Google presented better results 3 out of the 5 times. When searching certain informational terms, all Bing returned was brand sites which weren't really relevant to my search. I would have to say that Google still has...
I disagree I personally think it's useful, it can't be helped that some people will whinge whenever they have been negative repped. However I fully understand the decision from a moderation point of view.
There are plugins that let you manage authors and let other post on the site. I have seen a number of Wordpress blogs with such functionality, just do some research regarding plugins. Your going to have to be careful as your going to have a ton of people coming to spam the site.
3.5/10
The article won't particularly be of any use to anyone. There are some awfully awkward sentences in there as-well, I assume this is off some cheap article service?
This. Your better sticking with adding unique relevant content, until the dust settles from this recent update. It will allow you to work out what was actually targeted in the update and respond with a strategy accordingly.
