Forum links are still good. The one thing you need to care about is that it became more difficult to put a link in to some platform because of spam and the modo could be quickly suspend your account. I usually reply without links for a while and then go back to my previous replies to post one.

Hey, If I understand your concern, you just want users to click on your internal links so they discover more blog post. My question is why ? What is a purpose behind that ? You need first to be clear on what you desire the most. Selling your product or leading users to discover more blog post ?
