You can always check the quality of the blogsite before you accept their offer to publish your article. If you are a paid member i think there's a limit on posting article, i just have few ideas about that, because im just a free member there, accepting guest post and contacting other members...

Yes! You can use Backup Buddy for that...Backup your site, and restore it on a new domain/host/server... I know there's a free plugin that does the same as backup buddy does, i just forgot the name of that wordpress plugin Here's an excerpt from Backup Buddy Site;
