It seems like a nice idea to play around with it for anyone who has extra time in their hands. The best way might be to sell affiliate links with them or drive traffic to a page but my worry is in the future most platforms might or will definitely frown on them to protect human creators.

I ran into this myself last year. It's the crappiest set of dead subs you could get. Its interesting that they do this and get away with it. I do NOT recommend this service. The other downside is that, there is a pretty high chance that the channel will never get any organic success after paying...
