Long Tail Pro is a good paid tool if you're willing to shell out the dough for it. You can easily get the same data from the Google Keyword planner though. While LMS doesn't directly dictate the level of competition, it's pretty safe to say that you probably should go chasing after any keywords...

Or just buy some links. Make sure the ones you buy are PERMANENT though. It'll be much cheaper for you in the long run.

IMHO they're ok for diversifying your link profile, but they're not gonna pass much link juice. And I wouldn't do more than a couple or else it's gonna look spammy anyways.
