Consistency is key. Similar numbers each day develops a pattern. 15 one day and 2 the rest of the week is less desireable, but not necessarily bad.

Initially a rat race, then morphs into a caste system, then a pyramid scheme of all our content funneling up to Google via Rich Results/Featured Snippets, etc.

Also, if you're sharing your links elsewhere (reddit, twitter, etc.), a medium link will likely have a better CTR than something from your poop domain no one heard of. It looks a little less like blatant self-promotion.

Always better to have full control of your content, but certainly a good way to piggy-back a niche they perform well and try to spread your name. If you offer enough valuable information, hopefully people then follow you through social media or your own website. The goal is to be everywhere, or...

Very cool stuff. I think there will always be content quality concerns - like an AI writing comedy vs. a comedian- but definitely can scale up content that doesn't require a "personality" as much.

50% was way too lofty of an estimate. People have privacy concerns of devices listening, people search personal things they don't to say out loud, and sometimes it's a clunky experience if you do quick back-to-back-to-back searches to refine. In that case, it's easier just to type it out.
