Demonoid used to be the best; was a one-stop tracker for almost anything worth downloading IMO.. FTN is a good private tracker...so is TL Among public trackers...Kickass, Torrentz & PB

I just got accepted last week..I felt it was quite straight forward...I got a response in less than 15 mins... You need to show proof about your current tracker activity and answer a few questions like why you wanna be invited in and so forth... Good luck...
