The placebo effect is an amazing thing that can work wonders tho; despite homeopathy in my eyes being a ruse. That in itself can definitely be better than nothing if access to better medicine/s are not an option

Those people may not understand the value of your time. It sounds like you did right by him and that's all that matters, the rest is up to them. If they decide to invest their money into sketchy ebooks it aint you fault chief :(
