It's normal to see a drop in Average Position when your impressions shoot up. Imagine this:
You rank first page for a handful of low volume keywords. These keep ranking and that's where your clicks are coming from (explains why clicks are stable). Suddenly you also rank bottom of the first page...
Those are called sitelinks and they only show up for branded search. You'll have to establish yourself as a brand and then these sitelinks will come in time.
It really depends on how much time you want to spend on it. A separate site is probably better, but will cost you more time and effort in terms of maintenance and linkbuilding for example. If you have the time/budget go for separate sites and add alternate language tags + geotarget the .com...
It will be harder, but not impossible.
A .com.br is automatically geotargeted to Brazil, so anyone who has his site geotargeted to the US will have an easier chance to rank than you. If you can properly set up alternate language tags and maybe geotarget the /us/ subfolder by using Search...
I'm selling my own digital products in the adult niche and I'm now working on SEO ebooks. The biggest issue for me is with payment providers since they usually don't like adult products. If you are happy with only offering Paypal then it's a breeze to set up a Wordpress/Woocommerce store and...
Check under Google Index -> Index Status to see how many pages are indexed instead of using the sitemap page.
I've seen weird things on the sitemap page as well, like resubmitting a sitemap and suddenly it shows no urls indexed while under Index Status it shows that all pages are still indexed...
I have the option to buy a few domains that are in my niche and could work either as part of a PBN or maybe money site. They have been online for about a year, they are simple, relatively crappy sites run by a hobbyist. I think I can turn them into something useful.
The problem is that their...
Hey, these numbers are often calculated in the following way:
Search Volume = 1000
Your rank = position 1
Position 1 Click Through Rate (CTR) = 30%
Your traffic = 30% of 1000 = 300 visits
Competitors rank = position 2
Position 2 CTR = 20%
Competitors traffic = 20% of 1000 = 200 visits.
It all...
Yes, they are worth something. In companies I worked for we consider a confirmed name + email to be worth around 3 dollar. This all depends on conversion rates and average revenue per user of course. If I were you I wouldn't sell the data though. Build your own email list and offer other...
Pitchbox probably has that exact feature. I prefer Buzzstream though for all the fantastic additional features for link tracking and contact details scraping.
I use three dashboards for all my sites.
Acquisition dashboard shows sources of traffic: h**ps://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/template?uid=d1Nz3Vx6RieJvtb_W8b19g
Engagement and loyalty dashboard, tracking returning users, best days etc ...
Clean up sooner rather than later. There is a good chance your rankings will fall, but not as much as getting a penalty from Google. You can't rely on getting the penalty lifted quickly if you disavow the links afterwards, so I think the damage will be larger if you wait for the penalty to hit.
