afaik you can remove the feed via an option in wp-admin. Not sure, correct me if incorrect :P Essentially you want to use wp super cache, its a wp plugin. Produces static pages for faster load times and lowered server resource usage. Afaik, you can disable posts and comments in wp-admin also.
