Totally agree. I will not recommend Hostgator any more. Slow load speeds and migration resulting in down time. Also, you can add Bluehost to the list too. Avoid EIG owned hosting brands.

I believe it is time to start thinking about migrating your sites off Hostgator. I have started to see a drop off in performance on the Hostgator platform. I have moved 2 client sites in the last month because of issues with their servers. I will not be recommending them any longer.

Update...The OP inserts the script in your theme files....I backed up my theme modifications and ftp the site and blew away the theme directory and uploaded clean files. Problem solved and malicious script removed. BEWARE OF THIS SO CALLED FREE OFFER.
