"save some money on domain name" is ok, but including product name in subdomain (I suppose it's gonna start from product name) will bring you really good SEO benefits. Just make enough links on your main domain page, to ensure your visitors have no way to go than to your subdomain selling page.
Practice and read a lot. When reading, pay attention to how the text is written.
It's best to take some writing, Business English, and English grammar courses if you have a possibility. If not -- study from great masters.

I'm stuck with the same problem - I paste the text from the .docx into notepad, and from there -- to Wordpress post to get rid of nasty Word html.

Share your posts to social networks as much as possible and only to biggest once.
As you concentrate on photos, share your content on image-specialized resources.
Write good Alt and Title descriptions to every photo -- that'll give more Google images traffic.
You can put Google Analytics there (unless you are planning to do something anti-Google with it). It'll speed up the indexing process. And good sitemap asap also.

they give you a full backlink profile with anchors for free. Their service is good for Alexa top-100k, but sometimes messes up with low-traffic sites. Why pay ahrefs? :)
I have only several sites to check on regular basis, so I sticked with ahrefs since 2012. Some guy on WF told he checks his backlinks with Moonsearch. Its free. Has anyone tried it?
