I come from a country with less than 300,000 people. Why not use a foreign SIM card and reach 80M+ people. I’m currently using a Thai SIM card and got almost 30k followers, which is 10% of my country’s entire population.

I got over 29k followers in less than a week. Almost 3k followed me on Instagram, which has been my main source of income for the past few years. If something doesn’t work for you, doesn’t mean other should stop using it.

Have you had any issues with that? I’m currently in Europe, but started using my Thai SIM card. If I switch back to my regional card to use my data, and then put my Thai card to upload the video, is that too suspicious or against their TOS?

I live in Thailand, but currently back in Europe because of Covid. I started a TikTok account a week ago, but since 95% of the traffic was coming from my current location, I used my Thai SIM card, which automatically started showing my videos there. I’m at 29k followers now.

VPN does not work for me. Even with my SIM card out, I’m still seeing regional videos. With a foreign SIM, my FYP completely changes to the one I’m targeting.
