Yeah, Tumblr can still work especially for niche topics. I wouldn't rely on it as the main traffic source though. Its better as an extra channel alongside SEO and other platforms.
I think the biggest advantage of Myspace is that feels more personal than the usual social feeds. Customizing the page around the project can make the whole thing feel like part of the work itself.
One thing I'd change is the goal from post 3x a week to build a recognizable topic. If every post targets a different subject Linkedln has less context about which audience should fine your content.
I'd look at referral traffic and audience quality alongside SEO metrics. If nobody would realistically read the article or click the link I'd question the value of the placement.
Be careful with verified list too. A verified URL only means the tool can post there it doesn't mean the resulting backlink is valuable or safe for SEO.
