Why would NSA be interested in a blog/store site ? And even if I could go on that trip, I don't know the guy's exact location .. :p

Firstly, let me say that I'm not sure if this is the right section for this question .. Ideally, this should be in a Webmaster related section, but I don't think that's available here .. I have a new site up and running, which is still in the 'Coming Soon' stage .. That is, the main URL just...

So I have an Atlanta based VPS now, and have managed to run VPN on it, which I can connect to, but its VERY slow (Download: 0.07 Mb/s, Upload: 0.36 Mb/s, Ping: 510ms) .. Is there any VPN/VPS related forum section here at BHW where I can post ? I can't seem to find any, and Proxies section...

I actually want to try it out myself as well, but my talk with them prevents me from trying :p I apologize if this question is not allowed, but is it possible to 'buy' a PayPal account ? Just in case I try to use my account from Pakistan, and it gets blocked or something :(

No idea what that is. Can you elaborate ? Hmm I guess you're right. Thanks for summing it up. And yes, I only buy when using PayPal. I know that money transfers and other such things raise flags, so I strictly don't do those things. But just for the sake or curiosity, what's the chance the...

hahah ... I just placed an order on QuickPacket right now, and they banned me straightaway due to the 'fraud characteristics' on my order ! :D .. To hell with them and their 'fraud characteristics' ! If anyone knows any other Atlanta based VPS providers, kindly let me know.

Haha .. Wish it were that easy .. Not possible currently because of things out of my hands :)

I guess a lot of people are suggesting VPS then ... But still nobody has taken a shot at my VPS related question :: :p Can't VPS also be blacklisted ? Can't PayPal just lookup the hostname of the VPS IP, determine that its coming from some datacenter, and so conclude that there's a high...

Thanks unclemike. Can VPS also not be blacklisted ? They can just lookup the hostname of the VPS IP, determine its coming from some datacenter, so conclude that its a high probability the actual user is somewhere else ?

I'm currently in Pakistan, and sadly PayPal hasn't come here yet. I think even the neighboring countries only have limited PayPal facilities as well. Yes I mostly just use PayPal to buy stuff on ebay, or other online retailers, or subscribe for online services (not porn :p) etc .. Sadly PayPal...

Any specific kind of a VPS that I may need ? Won't a VPS's domain be blacklisted by PayPal ?

Can you tell me which VPN you used ? And can't PayPal detect VPNs ? I mean don't they blacklist the VPN providers ? Also can someone guide me on whats more safer between these 3 ? : VPN / VPS / Private Proxy (as tomsko suggested) .. Comments like these really make me want to take the plunge...

Yes but I actually hate that method ... I have to first email him and ask him for a time when he can share his computer .. He emails me back .. We decide on a time, and then I go on his computer at that time to do all my pending PayPal related stuff .. I can't freely use PayPal this way, which...

Problem is I buy stuff online, and most places only accept PayPal .. :/ Isn't a VPN more secure than VPS ? Looking for some opinions here ? But the whois information on a proxy can just be blacklisted by PayPal. Also, internet browsing has these 'flags' which can be used to detect if the...

As far as I know PayPal easily hunts down proxy users ... What about VPN and VPS ? Anybody use those ?
