It's a very long process, if you need the cash fast, definitely get a real job that will give you that quick buck. But as far as IM, you can start with the free methods and keep building them, they do add up fast. If you don't see immediate results, just don't give up and keep putting stuff out...

Good question. I'd like to know on this on this one too. WP MU is for those who know basic HTML coding and linux so that crosses me out. I know it can be a hassle, but managing around 40-60 sites isn't that hard or time consuming, given you set them up right the first time.
