Thats an advice right there, however ideally I would aim for a plan that would not have to interact with others. Im thinking that all this gathered info can be well used on a hosting related blog

the concept is whether you can somehow scrap something specific from a huge domain list and monetize that info. It can be info related to the the domain, the the website, the cms its using, where and how its hosted, user info, anything.

you can try to use the cloudflare firewall, comes with free and paid plans. Blocks most of the traffic that shouldn't reach your servers anyways. If you feel like it elaborate as to why you need that firewall. What are you trying to block?
