Well they can see who uses the Niantic API, and exactly on what domains. So they just stoped serving data through the API for those domains

check to see if google is allowed to crawl your website. maybe you have it disabled in robots.txt or in wordpress (allow this website to appear in search engines) google adsense has to be able to crawl your website in order to show relevant ads.
