I wouldn’t reject it just because it was used for casino content before. If the backlinks and previous content look clean, I would test it and see how it performs after rebuilding the new niche.

I have had this happen too, especially after redesigns. I would rather have a tool flag the change than remember to check every link manually. Then I can just review the ones that changed.

For me, the biggest thing is whether I can make the page noticeably better than what’s already ranking. If I see a clear gap in the current results, I’ll usually give the keyword a shot even if the tools show high difficulty.
