From someone who has been down that road, pro sports team sites are not very profitable. It's very competitive and the payout is very small.

Been there.. no fun. I was scammed a few years back and was right $1k over drawn on Paypal. After about a week, they simply took the money from my bank account that was tied to my paypal. Lesson learned, don't get scammed and don't tie bank account to paypal.

a couple times a month at most. you can get lost in those numbers.. time best spent doing something else. Not downplaying its importance just focusing on the real goal.

You can use the tried and true method of Google Keyword Tool via Adwords but I use Ultimate Niche Finder.. its a really good AP for finding quality keywords.. :)
