Could you not have someone you trust in the UK or US purchase the domain for you, using your email, and a temp pass, then you could just pay them back and continue to make the yearly payments on the domain?

With amazon affiliates, I believe you will need to provide your Tax ID / SS. Not sure if this will matter or not, but might be something you want to look into.
