Ok, I did a search and couldn't find anything in the first 10 pages. Does anyone have any suggestions to getting a better ranking in the local business directory area. I'm at a complete loss when it comes to this.

Article directories are dead. Submit your article to blog hosting sites where you can create your own URL and such. These are far more respected by Google. I have a list of 50 I currently post to with a PR of 5 or higher. First day I did it, I jumped 8 pages. Also, I am on a constant look...

Are you trying to say that you think Google only indexes 25 of your submitted articles? Because if you are, then that is a no. There is no maximum.
