Hey BHW,

I just bought my first 2 expired domains and plan on using one as a money site and the second for tiered link building to it.

I remember I watched some video a month or so ago when I really started learning about black hat seo, and it mentioned that you should definitely host your sites on separate accounts or IP's or something of that sort..

I was hoping I could get some general advice on what NOT to do when hosting multiple sites to avoid getting penalized by Google and "leaving footprints"

I can't find the video anymore and don't remember how important it was, I wish I had written it down in my notes. But anyways, any advice is helpful

You can keep same host, just by dedicated IP for money site and keep the default IP for other one.

Search YouTube for "WordPress multi site setup" .

You can use the same host. Just ask to be on different shared IP each time you set up a new site.

You should use different hosts, you should mix your platforms, e.g. wordpress as your cms on one, another cms on another, maybe plain html on another, you should use different domain registrars.

At least that's what I'm going to do if I ever make any, there's a great thread on here about this stuff, I'll see if I can find it and link you to it.

It's all about minimising the footprint you leave between the sites, the less they have in common, the less the foot print is, the less likely they are to be identified.

use cloud host and different ip for each domain
use multiplecloud it provide cloud host and provide different ip for each domain added in host

Use the same host with different IP address. That will be enough for this. And Keep maintaining clearly with no footprints

For 2 domains you can use same hosting with different C class!!! IPs. At the very least different C class. If you will have more sites in your PBN, then diversifying your hosting providers will be a must.

Better to host with different hosting providers to avoid the Footprints. And you need to know that if anything while hosting coincide with your money site details, It will be harm and may penalty your site by the Google. Hope you understand what I am saying. Best of luck with your money site.

Same hosting is fine for your current situation IMO, but separate IPs and of course hosting accounts. You might want to check this out as well to see one of the reasons why this is not recommended.

Depends on your budget at the end of the day also, but take into account the responses above.

For few domains, it's fine to use the same hosting but use unique IP addresses to avoid the risk of deindexation.

Wow thanks for the responses everyone!
