General but important question about Ad Networks (being a Publisher)

Hello there guys. Hope all are doing well

I've got some questions for those who have some experience/knowledge around this topic.

Here they go:

1) For example, let's say I have found some keywords/niches via Google Keyword planner. The niche is high competitive between advertisers and is quite narrow (like "buy a flat in Kyiv bla bla bla" etc).
All that is true only if we talk about Adsense, right? (I mean, all the info we see in keyword planner from google).

2) I also have got some questions about how Adsense work. Since it not only shows the ads that are related to my site/article, but also to what people SEARCH FOR. So what is in priority? I want people that come to my site to see ads that are related to my articles.

3) So the MAIN problem is: if I go not with Adsense (talking from my poor experience) and with some other network (let it be revenuehits or something else) - am I right, that despite the fact that in the adsense there are a lot of advertisers for my article topic and the competition is high, in other network their number could easily be just zero?

I don't like the ads I see at the moment. I have a test blog with some articles, I just wanted to see which ads they will show. (revenuehits atm)
And all I see is some malware stuff like "DOWNLOAD" or "USE YOUR CHANCE TO WIN 100000$" instead of related ads to my articles.

Consider that the traffic is from Ukraine. I can only suppose that Ukranian advertisers in most just don't use any alternatives for Google because they don't know other networks/etc. Well you know that Ukraine is not the super advanced country, that's my suggestion...

Maybe I don't understand how the things works.

But if the guys from the niches I have chosen advertise only through Google, there is no chance I can earn from them with other network, right?

Also, if I am right. How can I know which topics can be profitable in the network I have chosen?

1. The info from Google Keyword Planner isn't 100% accurate, but it should give you an idea about how profitable a keyword is and how much search volume it receives per month. It's also reasonable to infer that when a keyword shows high CPC on GKP, then advertisers from other networks probably also pay generously for the same keyword.

2. I might be wrong here, but I think Google delivers ads to people with matching interests or demographic profile. This is because advertisers essentially pay to reach their target audience, not to get ad spots on specific websites. Again, I'm not 100% sure here.

3. Yes, that's possible. Your experience proves it. No matter what the content is, an ad network may serve the same set of ads because they have a limited number of advertisers.

Yeah you'll find that other ad networks have less bids for your slots than Adsense. Even Adsense fills ads with PSAs occasionally.

For this point. If I didn't mix all the things up, I remember I read somewhere that you can disable this option in Adsense, so it will show the ads related to your website/page. I'm not confident though.

Hm, going with micro niche/keywords. I can see an approximate image for Adsense when using GKP. But what about other networks? How can I know if the network I'm trying to use will have a decent competition between advertisers in a chosen niche? Yeah, it all is testable, but there are so many ad networks even the big ones, it will take a lot of time to test it, especially with a lot of projects.

Wow, just write and write well about what you care about. Make it interesting and embed the Adsense into your color schemes. This takes a long time to figure out so prepare to test. Also don't sell on your site, if you need it to purely Adense based and ensure you rank top for your keywords.
