New site how to get first page for keywords??

ok ive made a website and im trying to get a basic method on how to get first page for some keywords....and what do i have to do in order to get my page rank and alexa rank up...ive submited my site to the big (G) already and now all i have to do is domanate these keywords and i should be good .....any info ??help me out

Did you optimize your website for specific keywords? If yes... build as much links as you can (build them naturally) with your keywords as anchor text. Think about:

- Article marketing
- Video Marketing
- Social bookmarking
- blog commenting
- forum posting

etc etc etc... if you have chosen a very competitive keyword you have to make alot of links to dominate.

See it like this... you have to do better then the top3 resulting website for your keyword. If they have 1000 links, you need 1000+ links to dominate them.

For 2-3 month earlier you should build it slow and steady. Then to dominate the first page you can go on linkwheel.

how much competition is considered small??? and how many keywords should i target ???

My site which I just use sub domain from 000webhost rank at rank 9 at the moment. It just a month. I just need to strengthen my properties with good PR and close the hole(properties which is de-indexed, change with other)
