Yesterday i was looking through some new threads. A lot of the comments on most threads just copy the first comment that was left as a response just word it differently. I can understand how that would happen though. Maybe a lot of people wait for someone wait to build a opinion so they can have an easy time to build theirs. Or maybe its to increase the post count. What do you think?

I think, you better list those threads here for the better understanding!

There are three types of members who do this: bots, people inflating their post count, and people who are still learning.
  1. The bots will take a member's post and switch around the words or sentences.
  2. The members trying to inflate their post count are usually up to no good.
  3. The members who are still learning just agree with any senior member.
People were doing this even before I joined the forum, though as long as it's not a bot or a spammer, it doesn't bother me.

Yeah, that's the 3rd type of member and it's a fairly common tactic. People do that in college discussion boards as well. They wait for someone who actually read the prompt to make the first post, then they write their post based on the first student's thread.

Sometimes i skim looking at a question but buy the time i write back ,a person reply just better written then me ,but all mean the same .

Posting ansaw dont mean numbers more intrested in learning ,but help to learn and understand somethink you read ,you can repeat to help others

i think the mods here has been pretty good at detecting users that just want to advertise their sites and such.
