Do you activley manage your Web 2.0s?

In the past, I created several web 2.0 or bought them of the marketplace to boost my rankings. After I placed the links and made sure they are indexed, I usually never visit them again.

Lately, I was wondering, if I should actively manage them. For example I could update them with new content on a regular basis and "reuse" them by adding more articles that point to my money site and so on.

What's your take on this? Is this a waste of time or something that's well worth the effort?

Yes it's worth the effort, especially for the better quality ones.

I don't because they are not worth it and I dont have any tool to do this.

for example my tumblrs generally end on single login because they like to ban you know. the less IP logs the better.

maybe with rankerx lifetime licence then yeah.


google devaluation of "old sites" that dont post new content isnt as big problem as lose of link juice from link rot. most of the links from GSA (for example) wont survive next half a year. web20s will survive as long as they wont get manually or automatically deleted. so basically they are good choice, but i lose 50% of webs in 2 months, hard to tell if other 50% will stay for the rest of year or longer.


but if i had a set of PBNs i made on my niche that have a loooooooot of link juice then i'd post things there regullary to fast rank new sites in the niche.

If you want to go the extra mile to give the Web 2.0 the appearance of new activity, and the properties are based on the WP engine, you could see if you could try to set them up to auto post new content you have prestored as drafts, or usiing RSS. That way after the inital set-up, the blog could be posting 1 or 2 times a month for , without you further touching the property.

I have few very old web 2.0s and i update them with fresh content on weekly basis. They are pretty strong. So yes.

And yes more posts = more pages indexed which can increase authority and other things. Plus old and established web 20s get indexed so fast. I mean almost 30+ posts out of 50 get indexed within 2-3 days time. Talk about ranking boosts.
