Just got locked out and got the message "Upload a pic which clearly shows face" . This is a fake account , but i had the pics ready , so i uploaded a pic . How long does it usually take for the processing to complete ?

Also
Say the account is X that got locked , I have a ad account Y , but managed by X , and page to run the ads is by X

I can view the page made by X from another acc , the page is not having any problems and not unpublished

will the ads be paused or will they be running?

I am too scared to login to Y at the moment.

They gave you PHOTO verification ?
Not Govt ID Card upload ?

I have had the issue and its usually Govt ID..
India se ho ?
Just get ID Card dump from alphabay market in darkweb..

No , its just Photo verification and not ID .yes , from India

Thats weird... i heard there are just 2 type of lock outs:
- Identify friends from multiple choices
- Upload Govt ID

Please update us if it opens up.. I think you probably wont.. but would appreciate if you take the time to update us to help us in case others also face this issue..

No , this is the latest lock , they have removed ID locks and added this. The pages associated with the account are still active so i have a hope .

i dont understand why they would add this.. if someone were smart enough they would just download like 100 pics of someone make an account with 50 of those pics and keep the ones left over as spare in case they ask for a pic.

This actually makes making fake IDs easy if you ask me

This comes for small cases i think , rather than mass spamming , For spamming lots , the ID check is still there

It's not that simple, they're cross checking the pics through databases and their algorithms. Most accounts are being disabled right after you upload a photo. Only a small percentage of people are getting their accounts back. I think FB is going way too strong with their latest update as I've read articles about lots of legit accounts getting locked out. I'm assuming they'll down tune their algos just a bit. It is chaos right now to say the least.

Getting pics is easy.. We can get pics of people who are not on FB..and make accounts with those pics..what will they do then ?

So it was best not to upload a pic ?

There are also people reporting getting locked out for doing normal things such as replying to a message or sending a friend request.

It's best to forget about any accounts locked out for the time being. Wait until FB fixes their system or learn to adapt to their new system. The game is always changing. Less people spamming FB, more money for me :D

I havent spammed actually , i just use it for ads and that too whitehat .

Both are for marketplace.. Thats different.. If people make more accounts and spam less per account they dont get burnt. I havent personally had much issues..

Some people say they have waiting 7+ days and it lets them login but your account is most likely fried. Best to start over and forget about it.

It's completely new and a lot of people have lost their real accounts with genuine pics. They automatically disable an account when you upload the pic and then say wait 72 hours. Some have been waiting for weeks and no reply. I haven't had one survive yet and I have the pics. All my pics are totally clean and cant be reverse image searched and have new MD5. I have others that I am not going to send the pics in just yet and see if they calm down a bit first. You can see on downdetector a lot of people complaining.
