I think they estimate the commissions until the transaction is complete, i.e. the buyer has succesfully received the item and confirmed its reception. Anyway those questions marks probably would like to say "hover me"!
Anyway, which channel are you using to push your referrals?

As the guy above said, you should wait till the buyers get what they paid for and mark the order as completed.
Only when that's done you'll get your money.
