The best way to get an answer on the top of Quora is to just write better answers or buy upvotes. Buying upvotes can get you there for some time but if someone writes generic answer your answer will be lost.
The proper ways of getting following on Quora and keeping your answer on top is, 1) Tell a story in your answer. 2) Update and edit your answer. 3) Don't write stuff you don't know or are passionate about. I have worked with clients and wrote answers for them to bring those answers to the top for a consisitent period of time. You can contact me if you need to write better answers for organic results.
