Question about disavowing links/domains using Ahrefs

I'm using Ahrefs to look at all of my backlinks and referring domains. There is a video I was told to watch by the Ahrefs staff, the link to which is here. I'm going through these, and per the video's instructions, I've located a couple of domains which have more than 50 links to my site, and which are also foreign, and generally not very nice looking sites. Should I go for it? Should I disavow these domains?

This one is a forum, and I don't know if it is good quality because it's in another language. There are more than 50 links from this domain to my site.

Then you've got this one. Looks bad to me.

I'm asking about this because I've never audited my links before, and so I'm not completely certain as to which are good, and which are bad. I mean, the really good ones are obvious, like the .edu's etc... but there seems to be so much grey area with this, and seems like a judgment call more than anything.

Any input from you all?

I presume your site is all in English and has nothing really to do with Russia or Czech topics ?

If you go through those sites and look at the spam score, what else they're linking to etc, you'll get a better feel if they're good, bad or toxic.

A lot of EDU link sellers use .Ru, and all the weird and wonderful stuff to complete their orders. If the EDUs you have are from American, UK establishments, then yes they are good, but if they're from a Namibian university, again ask yourself the relevance unless your site is an authority site on the subject.

Never ever disavow links. Please do google on how people get stuck after submitting the links to disavow.

Really? This is the most unexpected advice I've gotten in a long time. Why do you suggest not disavowing links?

Excellent. I suppose Spamscore is a metric within Ahrefs? I haven't used it a whole lot, so I'm not entirely familiar.

I've not found anything on Google suggesting it bad practice to disavow. My only question is how do I KNOW a bad link? I don't have any messages in my search console, which is good, but I Want to clean up some of these foreign/low quality domains.
