Is google really not considering paid articles for ranking?

There are several blogs in my niche (probably in any niche) that are happy to write about my site, for cash. My problem is that all of them insist on including a line that says something like "This is a sponsored post".

Now my question is, has anyone had sucess with ranking thanks to paid posts, that says that it's paid, on an overall legit site?

Sponsor posts are still helps in ranking your site. You will get real visitors and good ranking improvement depends on where you post your article.
