Suite101, was a content farm. They had thousands of published articles by many authors.
And that's a whole can of worms right there. Why does google punish 'content farms'??? If the content is original why was it labeled a content farm? Didn't google want lots of content?
Also the Adsense host program rewards multiple-contributor massive content by distributing ad revenue to sites where there are tons of authors. Isn't that a incentive from Google for exactly what they penalized that other site for?
Confusing don't you think? I mean the Natural News thing was strange enough IMO, a penalty reverted in 24 hours? All 400k indexed pages back just like that? How long does a penalty usually take to clean out after it's lifted?
There are different rules for different players. That's all we know.
