It isn't just for "Stoners" - people with cancer and severe forms of other illnesses use it for many different things.

They can use it to create an appetite, to help them with pain, and to just allow them to enjoy life in general (before they kick the inevitable bucket).

Marijuana legalization = the expansion of our economy as well, and boy oh boy, do we need that shit.

I never said it could cure cancer.

I've heard enough stories to MAYBE believe it. Until I have cancer and smoking doobies/consuming hemp oil clears me up, I'm still going to be skeptical on the matter.

Of course, putting radiation into my body as an effort to kill the cancer (and while doing so, killing the healthy cells as well) sounds terrible at any rate. So if I were terminal and could be prescribed weed to enjoy the last little portion of my life, I would love it.

Will there be "stoners" that abuse the new legal system? Of course. Just like there are people popping Percocets and Xanax on a daily basis, with absolutely no need to do so.

There are also places that legalized the RECREATIONAL USE of marijuana. Meaning, you can just hang out and smoke it if you want to - no need for any sort of sickness.
