Besides for abusing instagram's API, violating their terms of use, and making a whole lot of money in the process... yeah they didn't do anything that would warrant a lawsuit.

Only a matter of time. Instagram owns the trademark to the word "Insta". They don't hit everyone, but this service is a clear violation of their TOS so they nailed them.

Don't know why you would use them anyways tbh. Much better options out there.

Actually I left instagress a while back figuring out Mass Planner is so much better, Instagress had very limited options compared to Mass Planner...

Billing history, then click on date of transaction, and the click request refund.

Got partial refund in 5 mins. Kudos to instagress for not just fucking off or dragging their heals...

Mass Planner just doesn't have the super targeting like instagress did. I've just been round and had a look at as many alternatives as I could. None of them have targeting like instagress. I want to target people who comment on a specific users post, who are active now, who are real, who have a specific amount of followers, who follow a specific amount of accounts. I've found one that does almost all of this stuff except targeting people who comment on specific users posts & who posted just now.

The way I see it, there is a massive gap in the market.

On the one hand this is fine [not great for Instagress users, of course, but well within the bounds of the game - both the name and the reliance on IG's API made Instagress an obvious and legit target], on the other - now MassPlanner is going to be first and foremost on Instagram's shitlist. Have you ever even touched Massplanner? It can do everything you listed, there's a gap in your research.
