Instagram account Hacked

My 10k+ account has been hacked this morning

So far I know what they have changed the username to and the email address its a @mail.ru account
what can I do to get my account back no where can I find any kind of contact info for instagram just stupid FAQ pages they have changed password removed phone number and changed account email also.

I know for most guys on here 10k account is nothing but it took me a year to build my account up and its for my business so it's kinda important to me

Did you use bots and did activate phone verification?

No email only one to say my password has changed how they got to change it I dunno must of hacked my email which was a different password that's now been changed!

I linked my Facebook page which is how I found out the new email attached to the account but it requires you to re-enter your Instagram password which of course I don't know!

I feel for you friend! Very disappointing. @mail.ru - probably russian hackers.

How come they hacked you? Did you download something, replied to certain dms, or clicked the links?

Hope that things will work out.

PS. Did you use business profile? If yes. was the email same to your profiles mail?

Or did you used free online fake numbers or phone numbers who other people manage & verify for you ?

If yes they can recover your acc with only phone number.

Yes I thought the same Russians I did use a business account and the 2 email addresses where totally different, different password on the email as well

No unfortunately I did not the phone number has been removed from the account

Try to log in with your old credentials then hit forgot password, and see if there is any other options or contact menu in there

Only way to recover is via the changed email on the account

What about your email(hacked)? Was it phone verified?

TBH I have no idea I might have to look into that it's an isp email which I thought where pretty secure normally!

Thanks read through all that tips for the future when I get my account back! It's been reported to Instagram now so it's in their hands!

Hi Guys, my Instagram got hacked too! I managed to find the hacker information though. I have his full name, the city where he lives, his two email addresses and his phone number!!! What can i do with that to get my account back??

Even with all that info it’s hard Instagram couldn’t care less! You can contact them but trust me it’s probably a waste of time!
I started a new account with 2factor Authentication turned on
