Using chromedriver for scraping google and setting up accounts?

Hi,

I'm just wondering if setting up accounts on Google (and scraping google), is a good idea in Chrome driver?

It's just that obviously Chrome is created by Google, so my thinking is that it might be better to use a different driver for Google (phantomjs, although its a bit of a nightmare to use)

I would prefer to use chrome driver, and thinks its ok, since the source is open and im sure people would mention something if there was a feature that was calling home!

It's perfectly ok if you use proxies.

Chromedriver can be possible detected because of variables it sets up for the browser, all you need a little tweak and some proxies and it would run just fine.

Just to add to this, you'd have to go into the source code and change the variable names and then compile a new binary

Just change those variable names and compile and use proxy. Thats all.
