First of all I would like to say that BHW is THE GREATEST forum on the internet HANDS DOWN! It has allowed me to make about a thousand dollars in my first month, using various methods found here.

I have recently been researching making money with CPA offers, here at BHW. In the process I've found many useful and inspirational threads (which I will share below), and I believe I'm ready to start my endeavor. This week I will be applying to a long list of CPA networks. I will use this thread as a journal, and a library of helpful information that I've found. If you know of a thread, technique, or method that you would like to share, please feel free to post it here.

Traffic Getting Methods and Other Helpful Tools:

This thread teaches you how to get tons of traffic to your offers with twitter. In this method the guy uses CashCrate with the twitter method, but it can be used to promote anything you'd like. So I'm sure this can be used successfully with CPA offers:

This is a tool for twitter, that allows you to get 1000 followers per day PER TWITTER ACCOUNT on autopilot, and you can have as many twitter accounts as you can imagine! The thread above recommends Hummingbird in the beginning, but if you'll notice later in the thread they stopped using it because it has been having bugs lately. Instead this is the most recommended FREE automatic twitter friend adder that I know of at this time:

You'll also notice in the first twitter thread above the OP also recommended using TweetLater to schedule automatic tweets... this tool is not bad but about month ago TweetLater began charging about $30 a month to use their service. If you are willing to spend $30 every month than I would recommend tweetlater, as it is an excellent tool:

If you do not have $30 to spend on TweetLater, then a good free alternative to TweetLater is HootSuite:

Or instead of scheduling your tweets you could use this INCREDIBLE tool to type in a tweet and post it LIVE to multiple Twitter accounts, Facebook accounts, Myspace accounts and MANY other social networking site accounts....AT THE SAME TIME!!! :

If you want to post affiliate links in your tweets, you cannot use anchor text, and you cannot post very long links. So you will need a link shortener to help you out. BudUrl is the PERFECT link shortener and it even allows you to track the amount of click-through's EACH link is getting! So let's say my affiliate link is: somekindofdomainthatiworkfor.com/thisismyaffiliatelink123456789
Obviously I could not post this in a tweet(it's long, unsightly, and not allowed) or anywhere else really, and I have no way of knowing how many clicks it gets... so I don't know what is working. With BudUrl I can RENAME my affiliate link to "budurl.com/trackedlink1"
then I can RENAME the SAME affiliate link to
"budurl.com/trackedlink2"
....
Then I can post the "budurl.com/trackedlink1" link on Craigslist , and post the "budurl.com/trackedlink2" on Twitter. Then I can compare the click-through's to see which site is bringing me more clicks to the SAME offer! So both "tracked links" are actually the SAME link, to the SAME offer. This improves your trial and error process by allowing you to see WHERE your traffic is coming from for EACH individual offer you are promoting. The best part about BudUrl (aside from having the word "BUD" in it's name ) is that it FREE! :

If you checked out the first journal thread posted above, then you know that the man makes about a thousand per day now, using Craigslist to promote CPA offers. The second journal thread posted above confirms the fact that this can be done, as he was inspired to do CPA by the first journal and subsequently made $61 on his first day, and now makes several hundred per day. Well, the following tools let you take your ad-posting CPA to the NEXT LEVEL.... There are three main tools available, I will start with the cheapest and the progress to the most expensive (CLADGENIUS):

This is the least expensive one, CLbotPro, and it is ideal for beginners:

Unfortunately, I have probably been researching this for less time than you have (about a week and a half). I have no clue about double meta refreshes, redirecting, masking, or blanking/faking referrals. I will be signing up to my first CPA accounts this week, so I will be researching all of these topics this weekend. I am sure I will find the answers I am looking for, regardless of whether my questions are answered here or not. When I find the answer to these questions I will be sure to clue you, and everyone else here in ASAP.

I created this thread to help answer questions like mine and yours, by sharing info with each other and eliminating all of the searching and guesswork. That is why I shared all that I know so far, and I will continue to do so as I learn more. I will also keep this thread updated with the results I am having after begining my CPA endeavor.

I think I can help you with the three questions in the bottom.

1. If you're doing a campaign that allows email marketing, you have no reason to redirect. If, in other case, the only marketing method allowed is, for example, banner, you have to do it.

2. Same reason as above. Promoting your offers through craiglist is not allowed most of the times, if you do it, you will want to redirect the guy to a page of your website that will redirect him to the offer. The network will check where the traffic came from, and will see the a webpage promoting the product.

3. Let's imagine you're promoting an email submit about a kitchen set. Even for a freebie, the conversion rate will be low. If, on the other hand, you do an iframe/cakeslice/whatever with a page showing "Win a free xbox360", the conversion rate will be high, wich the network knows, is unlikely, and will probably check it out. To prevent this, you buy junk traffic, so that many people visit the page without submiting an email, thus lowering your conversion rate.

Most offers do have a landing page, that's where the zip/mail submit or sale is made so you don't have acces to them (you can't use them with your domain).
Sometimes they're not so great, so you'll want to create your own, and they're usually bad for SEO, if that's your main traffic source, you'll want to make one on your own aswell.

This is particularly effective if you're creating a review like website, that usually increases conversions (mostly, because it looks like a real legit website, with no advertising interest whatsoever).

I couldn't agree with you MORE! This is the very BEGINNING of my CPA journal/library of info. There will likely be 20+ more helpful links posted in this thread before it is all said and done. I also plan to post my experiences with CPA this week (which will be my first week).

As for posting an easy guide, I also plan on uploading recorded screen clips to rapidshare to make it possible for even the newest newbies to follow along. I DO NOT plan on giving out any info on campaigns or specific methods that I discover are successful for me. Why?..... I am not an idiot.....one word.. saturation... it is a big enough problem as it is in ANY marketing endeavor.

But it is my goal to provide THE BEST CPA guide(compilation) at BHW, because I know how it feels to have to learn something from 40 different sources of information. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone just shared information with the people that were looking for it.

Many people are afraid to share information because they don't want to their industry to become saturated. The fact of the matter is, EVEN IF you told people what to do step by step, 95 PERCENT OF THEM would not act on it, or would give up after a few problems. The other five percent would not know what niche or methods you are using, so helping people out really can't hurt you. Besides if someone REALLY wants to know something they will find it out anyways, so why not help them get a boost?

That is what i will do here, I will go through the door and let you know in detail what is on the other side of it. However, right now I am only clutching the door knob.

I would strongly suggest you read each thread ALL THE WAY through, as there is helpful information even on the ending pages. There are also dead links in some of the threads that are updated in later pages.
