Crazy Google Dance In The Last 24 Hours

I need to look at the keyword density of each article?

Keyword density, thin content, and duplicated content is most likely the reason you got on the shitlist. When you fix it, you will see an improvement in your rankings as they will split test your site if there is really an improvemt. If there is not, the will dump you again. This is what we call the G dance.

@german seo

Sorry, my English isn't good.

Problem 1: I have a problem that is on a single page. a url associated with multiple keywords (anchor text). For example on: menu top it is "category A", Sidebar it is "sidebar A", in the post singe it is "A". I am having excessive SEO optimization?

Problem 2: A website different from my site's domain name (my website domain .com, its .net) copied 100% of about 2,000 / 2,500 my articles automatically. when my website drop traffic then domain .net gets more traffic. Could this be a reason my website penalty? I have submitted a DMCA report to Google but have not received any results. :(

Thanks!

I am having excessive SEO optimization

Yes, most likely.

domain .net gets more traffic

G isn't not very good in distinguish the original author. The site with higher trustworthyness wins. So it seems he steals your stuff, makes things a little bit better in G eyes and wins. Why not to sink him, with a bunch of exact anchor SAPE links ? Should solve the problem.

My site also got hit very hard. It's an affiliate site in the fitness & weight loss niche. It lost about 80% of the traffic. Before this update a lot of pages where ranking in the top 3 for many keywords. I only had 1 ad on the site, no thin content. A lot of content with tips (2500+ words). The reviews on the site have 1500+ words, are unique and some of them have more than 100 user comments (product questions) and I always answered them.

My weight loss and fitness tips pages even outranked sites like webmd, huffingtonpost, prevention and other high authority sites. One of them even had the info box listing above the organic results and this for more than a year. One page ranked #10 for a competitive weight loss keyword without links. These pages also received a lot of organic social shares and never got hit by any previous penguin or panda update. Now only one weight loss tips page ranks #10 and all the others are more or less gone.

The keyword density for these pages is less than 1.5% (most of the time even less than 1%). I also don't have a lot of internal links. I don't use that a lot. Mostly the internal links are coming from the menu, sidebar or related content section. When I use internal links, then I always use a different anchor for each link I create.

I really have no idea what the reason for the drop could be. Maybe bad links?

Has anyone some tips, on how I could get the rankings back? Every tip is much appreciated.

Oh wow, that's bad. I really do feel sorry for you. My thoughts about your topic

- I also don't have a lot of internal links.
- 100 user comments (product questions) and I always answered them.
- keyword density for these pages is less than 1.5%

1) The point is, with a bad internal link structur I meant that. Blastingnews is partnered with G and the require each article to have 2 internal to other articles. Guess why ? Content farms, don't link articles to articles as they are all different authors and don't care.

2) Do these comments have external links ?

3) Is this done by yoast or some external keyword density checker like this tools.seobook.com/general/keyword-density/

My educated guess is this. If you ran your page through a external tools like keyword density and for links siteliner www.siteliner.com
You will see that your outbound links per page as well as internal links are far from median.

4) There seems to be a misunderstanding what an ad is, basically its an image with a link. The G crawler look how much is content and how many ads. If its clickable its an ad, that's the fastest way to figure it out.

5) User experience, please check your analytics data for sessions under 10 seconds. In audience > behaviour > engagement if you have 55 % under 10 sec it's a problem.

I think this is the formula no interlinking between articles + each article optimized for a specific keyword phrase + many outbound links + duplicate content = Content Farm. Content Farm + Bad User Experience = Asskick.

theres no such formula lol.

its all about percentage. they wont rank 100% duplicate content domain. and they wont rank domain with 10second bounce rate on every page.

Even overspammed blogs are somehow ranking on less popular kws.

Well there is one, it's called Panda. And guess what

Why do pure blackhat domains, rank but nor for long ? Because the need the time, to collect enough user data. When there is a sufficient amount of data and it doesn't add up. They'll f*ck you right in the ass.

ITT: Newbies make wild guess about how the Google algorithm operates (like it is a human being)

C'mon be fucking real. It is an algorithm. I rank with spun content and links all coming from spun pbns.

One of my aff sites has 6 aff links per a page and it has flew up the last month, again spun content.

You have all sat on this thread debating very very trivial shit.

Your focus should be something like this Quality of links>anchor text ratios>on-page content>on-page internal linking>outbound link content>all that jazzy shit related to penguin>all the other on-page crap related to panda

i@german seo Thanks a lot for your reply. Much appreciated.

2) about 90% of the comments don't have an external link.

3) this is done by yoast. I just checked with the one from seobook.com and the highest density for a one word keyword is 1.41%.

I run the site through siteliner.com and the results are:

Internal Links per Page

The internal links per page for your site is 35. The median for all other sites is 26.
The internal links per page for your site is more than 61% of all other sites.

External Links per Page

The external links per page for your site is 10. The median for all other sites is 5.
The external links per page for your site is more than 73% of all other sites.

I only use a max. of 3 aff links within the content and then I also have 2-6 outbound links to resources (like other authority sites in that niche).

4) I don't have external links in my images. When I have a link in an image, then it's a link to the media page, but not an external link. I would say, that about 85% - 90% of the images I use don't have any link at all.

5) I checked that for 2017-01-01 until march 6, the day before the site got hit. The sessions under 10 seconds is at 48.05% and for the year 2016, it was at 47.16%.

I saw, that I got some dup content when I run the site through siteliner. I'll change that, and hopefully, it will help.

Should I disavow links or should I better leave them as they are and start building some new ones?

I've done you a favor and highlight the only thing that will matter to you right now.

check the kwd for all your keywords, and build new links.

Thanks @MikeyMikey13. You are perfectly right.

about 90% of the comments don't have an external link.

Remove the links from the comments and keep the comments. Reduce your Keyword density. The sites, that did well during the update are all in the 0,5 - 0,8 density range, do some internal linking between your articles (without keywords) and do something about your sidebar, 404 page or whereever those internals are coming from.

Here is @MikeyMikey13 again right, your internal link anchor text ratio is most likely fucked up, as all those sidebars contain your keywords.

Should I disavow links or should I better leave them as they are and start building some new ones?

Disavowing links doesn't do shit. This is just an internal tag for G and the only situation it helps is when you undergo a manual review. NEVER disavow any links unless it's a manual review, to show your goodwill, there is no connection to the algorithmic ranking process.

Look at this shit, 24.59$ from 2080 UV, and why clicks pumped like that? Is this normal?

Since FRED, the traffic is much more targeted as user metrics play a much higher role. Many people, I am talking too doubled the conversionrate. While loosing 50% of their traffic.

My traffic increased a little bit, never reached 2k before, also I started seeing traffic from Bing and other smaller search engine.

I can vouche the I've seen a client site lose 25% traffic or so and saw a bounce rate of 75% drop to around 58%.

With the 'FRED thing', the problem is what works for one may not someone else.
I've played with keyword density a bit, to have a fresh start I had lower it to almost zero, the couple of posts that were affected dropped from 20 to 50. so I increased the keyword density to about 0.20% they bounced back to 20, so I bumped the density up to about 1%, they tanked again, below 50 this time. when I reverted back to 0.20% they went back to 20th position. It seems like no matter what I do, I can't get higher than 20. Keyword density is a factor here but it's not all. For now, I leave the posts as they and try to add more links to see what will happen next.

Just out of curiosity, do you have any keywords in your image alt-texts ?
