Indeed Job Board… Need advice!

Hello everyone, here’s what I’ve got….

1. Made a very basic WP site and signed up for indeed publisher and am using that on different pages for job searching in multiple countries.

2. Section of the site focused on “making money from home” and those are linked to clickbank offers.

3. In process of trying to get approved for AdSense to place ads in sidebars

4. Added opt-in popup to collect emails and am currently at about a 20% conversion rate on that.



Through posting in Facebook groups I have managed to get around 200 visits per day for a total of about 2,500 unique visitors over about 10 days and since I have a decent conversion rate on opt-ins it seems as though people are engaging with the site.

· How does the indeed program work? I am getting page views and not seeing any commissions… thoughts?

· What advice do you have for getting accepted by google for AdSense?

· I can keep getting a consistent amount of visits per day but do you have any thoughts on scaling this up? Is SEO the answer? FB ads?

· As far as the opt-ins what is a good approach for getting started monetizing that? What’s a good number of emails? That sort of thing.

I am pretty new to IM but this is the first thing I have done and started to get any traffic (small victory right there) now I am trying to figure how what to do next to start seeing any kind of revenue.

Also if there are any threads that are already dealing with any of the above mentioned please point me to them… I have been reading a ton but not found what I needed.

Any tips or advice is welcome.

as for adsense, if you get denied, you can try making a blog section with some unique content. if denied again, you can try buying an account from the misc marketplace (they're around $35)

if you're really black hat, you can post your own fake jobs and put the application behind a pay per download/content lock. few years ago i posted jobs for "data entry", iframed a cpa offer and told people "do this as fast as you can" as part of my hiring process. with a 3 minute countdown timer on the header, it worked astonishingly well.

on the emails you generally mail them tips on getting a job (how to write a resume that will get you hired) and mix in affiliate links to work-from-home offers. some people say do 80% tips, 20% sales, but its up to you. you can relinquish your email onto a few mailing lists in your niche to get a good idea of what to do and copy it.

Not exactly.... on top of the indeed job board I also have several articles on resume writing and the like... and also a free resume review page where they can send me their resume and I edit it and send it back. So there is a free service that is worth using.... and then have the ads, and offers sprinkled within to help monetize the free service.

post job ads everywhere... fb groups.. cl.. kijij..bp..any classifieds site you can find. search that question on bhw you'll probably find a few more strategies to get traffic. last week i read something about registering on linkedin and reaching out to people, sort of acting like a recruiter.

Been posting in all the classifieds and tracking where my traffic is coming from about 80% is from FB, maybe I just need to work on my ad format?

I wouldn't overload the site with ads because it looks unprofessional and turns people away. Too many people think lots of ads = more money. I certainly wouldn't include Clickbank offers.

Have a look at being in a specific job area rather every job possible. You can then target some forums etc. for people looking for jobs in this field.

Leave out applying for Adsense until you get decent traffic and the site is working. You most likely won't get approved at this stage.

Currently my main traffic is from Malaysia, India, Singapore, and some US. Based on where my traffic is coming from I added a page for each with an indeed search page for that country.

There is a thread about this method generally and I believe a better one about doing a job niche site somewhere.

I think you're going to have to narrow it way way down into specific markets and countries to have any chance of making something.

If you have an 6 months + aged youtube account ,you can register to adsense host through it .Just sign into youtube and go to this link :https://www.youtube.com/account_monetization .click on how will i be paid and click on "associate an adsense account" .if ur youtube account is clean (never been used to spam...etc) and 6 months old you will be approved immediately .hosted adsense can only use for blogspot site .
