Guys ! I need to convince one of my clients to purchase likes and followers (FB and TW) because I think it would give his new company a nice boost. I have never done this before.

He thinks buying likes is a shady and dishonest practice, but I want to convince him otherwise! I need to make this look like a normal procedure involving professionals and not some unreliable teenage hacker eager to steal his money.

He asked me several questions, and I have to admit I don't have all the answers. I'm pasting his email here:

1 - Can you purchase likes from a specific state/country like France and the province of Quebec?
2 - Can we do a test with a small number of likes? 500 would be a good starting point.
3 - I don't want to get ripped off. How are we supposed to pay?
4 - How can we make sure these likes won't disappear in a week?
5 - Can you select 3-4 suppliers to choose from?

Post your replies below. Please don't send me direct messages, I won't answer.

I'm guessing this is related to Facebook?
If he thinks its shady why don't you tell him the difference in price between likes brought by fb ads and just purchased likes.
Last time I did that the guy went from "purchasing likes is like a scam" to "I'm not paying that zucker guy that much money, find me cheap seller"

In that case I would go with Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads and similar... tbh.

for what social media is this?

for IG I dont recommend it since it doesnt offer much in the way of account growth, ruins engagement ratio and is far too risky.

Thanks guys. Sorry about this, I should have specified: Facebook and Twitter likes/followers.
Regarding the other questions, how should I answer my client (since I'm not familiar with this at all).

Post some engaging stuff and the likes come automatically

Unless they are real targeted followers then you're wasting his money.

Use Massplanner or FollowLiker to get followers/likes

Likes don't do anything for SEO. Buying fake likes can destroy your facebook marketing. Buying honest likes via facebook ad spend is ok though. If you have honest likes then you can use facebook to find similar people and market to them, but if the likes are all garbage then that opportunity is pretty much off the table.

Is it on the principle of "fake it till you make it" to buy a client followers and likes? Also offering to Photoshop him in front of a Lamborghini?
Come on, he is your client. Use a tool like Massplanner, or personally build him great social media.

Form 12 year old net consultant...
What's in it for you Gwen?
Few gigs or monthly checks?

Ask your client this: Do you want us to do it right way or else?

Do it really right way - if right way is said. Make plan and execute, find help if needed.
If else is chosen - bring him few gigs from Fiverr or Social Panels... who cares from start it was made to fail

dude, honestly. pay the 100$ and get some likes via facebook ads..
my head is banging against the wall...
