You've seen these before, they are not new but I need to keep a log of how I'm doing so I might as well share it with you guys.
My goal:
Grow the account. That's it so far. No bots, no money links at the minute, just grow the account and post good content. I want to learn what type of pics gets the best engagement. Once the account is doing well then I will start a money link.
The account:
It's about 2 years old, its my own account I registered. I posted a bit and got good engagement but I stopped. I only used it for a tester to see what the craic was with Instagram. I'm not sharing my account or niche.
Content:
It's not original content but there is plenty to grab off Google and a wide variety that I won't be posting the same as anyone else (I hope). I post when I feel like it or when I have a few mins spare. My only rule is atleast one post per day.
I make sure that all my pics have a theme and I stick to it. If I deviate from the theme then I do it when 1) a new row of pictures will be started with my next post (ie my total number of posts is divisible by 3) and 2) I post 3 similar theme pics in a row so that the difference in theme will stand out but it's a nice solid row of pics and doesn't look too out of place.
Engagement
I have a good set of hastags that get me good likes anywhere from 15% to 63% (number of likes divided by followers). I plan to find more hastags and find which ones work the best. I will also be looking for more to use.
I don't get many comments, mostly none, but I will be looking to improve this.
Gaining followers:
I currently follow and unfollow. I am currently unfollowing about 10-15 at a time and following the same amount at the same time. I will need to ramp this up but at the minute I'm just taking it easy as I got a like ban the other day after about 20 likes.
I am also gaining some followers just from posts.
So to the stats:
Current posts: 23
Followers: 178
Following: 247
Lowest likes per post: 19
Highest likes per post: 113
